The Democrats need to lose in Iraq to win Politically

The modern Democratic Party has invested their political future in the United States losing the war in Iraq and subsequently, losing the war on Terror. They are invested in defeat and for this very reason; it will be their downfall in '08.
I believe the silent majority of Americans want the U.S. to win the war in Iraq and defeat terrorism world wide. Despite this opinion, the Democrats have joined with the moveon.org crowd, who are a vocal minority in this country and they fail to realize that this course is the wrong way to go in the fork in the road atmosphere of today's political climate. It is a sad day when a major political party in the United States is hoping, praying and wishing that the "Religion of Peace" win in the war on Iraq and ultimately the "Religion of Peace" taking over the United States in whole and turning the world into one big Islamic State governed by psychotic Mullah's instituting Sharia Law. I often wonder if Democratic Party Leaders such as Pelosi, Reed and Murtha feel that if they basically sympathize with and align themselves to the "Religion of Peace" that when these people do take over the United States (which they seem to endorse), that somehow they will be spared having their heads separated from their bodies?
The leader of the Democratic majority in the US Congress, Harry Reid stated on Thursday April 19, 2007 that "I believe ... that this war is lost, and this surge is not accomplishing anything, as is shown by the extreme violence in Iraq this week". Here is a leader, the leader of the Democratic Party admitting and conceding defeat in Iraq. This man takes one week of violence in Iraq and applies it with the broad brush of politics to the entire overall picture of what is occurring over there. At this time, the surge had not met full strength and would not be up to full strength until the middle of June, yet here is Reed admitting defeat when the surge had barely begun. This is a prime example of how much the Democrats need defeat in Iraq to survive the upcoming elections. Here is some history leading up to the surge and some of the positive accomplishments made to date:

From 2004 to 2006, al Qaeda established safe havens, transport routes, vehicle-bomb factories and training camps in the rural areas surrounding Baghdad, where U.S. forces had little or no footprint. Al Qaeda used these bases to conduct bombings in Baghdad, to displace Shia and Sunni from local towns by sparking sectarian killings, and to force Iraqis to comply with the group's interpretation of Islamic law. Shiite death squads roamed freely around Baghdad and the countryside. The number of execution-style killings rose monthly after the Samarra mosque bombing of February 2006, reaching a high in December 2006. Iranian special operations groups moved weapons across the borders and into Iraq along major highways and rivers. U.S. forces, engaged primarily in training Iraqis, did little to disrupt this movement.
Today, Iraq is a different place; U.S. and Iraqi forces began their counterinsurgency campaign in Baghdad in February. They moved into the neighborhoods and worked side-by-side with Baghdadis. As a result, sectarian violence is down. The counterinsurgency strategy has dramatically decreased Shiite death squad activity in the capital. Furthermore, U.S. and Iraqi Special Forces have removed many rogue militia leaders and Iranian advisers from Sadr City and other locations, reducing the power of militias.
On June 15, Gens. Petraeus and Odierno launched a major offensive against al Qaeda strongholds all around Baghdad. "Phantom Thunder" is the largest operation in Iraq since 2003, and a milestone in the counterinsurgency strategy. For the first time, U.S. forces are working systematically throughout central Iraq to secure Baghdad by clearing its rural "belts" and its interior, so that the enemy cannot move from one safe haven to another. Together, the operations in Baghdad and the "belts" are increasing security in and around the capital.
The larger aim of the new strategy is creating an opportunity for Iraq's leaders to negotiate a political settlement. These negotiations are underway. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is attempting to form a political coalition with Amar al-Hakim and Kurdish political leaders, but excluding Moqtada al-Sadr, and has invited Sunnis to participate. He has confronted Moqtada al-Sadr for promoting illegal militia activity, and has apparently prompted this so-called Iraqi nationalist to leave for Iran for the second time since January.
This is war, and the enemy is reacting. The enemy uses suicide bombs, car bombs and brutal executions to break our will and that of our Iraqi allies. American casualties often increase as troops move into areas that the enemy has fortified; these casualties will start to fall again once the enemy positions are destroyed. Al Qaeda will manage to get some car and truck bombs through, particularly in areas well-removed from the capital and its belts.
But we should not allow individual atrocities to obscure the larger picture. A new campaign has been implemented and, it is already yielding important results, and its effects are increasing daily. Demands for withdrawal are no longer demands to pull out of a deteriorating situation with little hope; they are now demands to end a new approach to this conflict that shows every sign of succeeding.

These new demands are exactly what I am pointing out with the Democratic Party and how they are making a huge mistake by aligning themselves with the far left extremist groups of the United States. The Democratic party is reaping huge monetary and political support from the far left fringe. On the other hand, although the rewards are many for them now, the true price of repayment will not become evident until the elections of '08 have and will prove to be their demise.

Early Beginning of Political Correctness in the U.S.

With profound dismay, I have seen how the scourge of Political Correctness has taken hold in the U.S. It is very well entrenched in our educational system, at scientific, religious and community levels, the media, the workplace and even our government.

It is changing the American society from within, and the citizens of this nation are increasingly censoring themselves and losing their freedom of speech out of fear of Political Correctness repression and out of fear of the "Religion of Peace" (Islam).

It is the nature of Western Civilization to be civilized – respectful of others and concerned with correcting injustices. We don't need Political Correctness to make us think we are not civilized on our own and must have our thoughts and words restricted.

In December 2001, in Kensington, Md., an annual firefighters Santa Claus festivity to light the Christmas tree was objected to by two families. The city council, in the name of Political Correctness, voted to ban Santa from the parade. Fortunately, due to citizen outcry, the decision was reversed in the end and many people protested by dressing up as Santa.

Logically and respectfully, how can one person's benign icon be objectionable to the point of banishment? Offer to add other people's icons. Make it a broader celebration. That's the Perfectly Correct American way.

The rulers of Political Correctness reach absurd levels when they refer to the betrayal of America by the spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg – executed in 1953 – as "non-traditional patriotism"!

We see shameful situations created in our schools and universities in America that have fallen prey to Political Correctness. In the past few years, many American Universities have installed "foot baths" at taxpayer expense to accommodate their Muslim students. This is a perfect example of Political Correctness gone wild. The argument to install these foot baths is that the universities already give days off to or close for Christian and Jewish Holidays. Yes, that's true, however, this is not done using tax payer money. I for one don't want one red cent of my taxes paying for any Muslim to wash his/her feet, period!I cannot stand the way the Muslim Extremist are literally taking over this country and we as a society are afraid to confront them and say no. Is it because they are the "Religion of Peace"?

In schools and workplaces we see that "diversity" has degenerated into reverse discrimination, where often the less qualified are admitted and the incompetent cannot be fired. We have seen characters like Rev. Jesse Jackson shamelessly blackmailing and threatening to boycott entire corporations if they don't hire those selected by him or simply make "donations" to his organizations.

The Double Standard Emerges

Our Constitution requires the separation of church and state, which has always discouraged our public education system from teaching religion. However, in December 2001, while Christmas cards, symbols and decorations were being objected to for the first time in American public schools in Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Minnesota and Oregon.

And in January 2002, a public middle school in San Luis Obispo, Calif., had its students pretend to be warriors fighting for Islam. Another school near Oakland, Calif., also encouraged 125 seventh-grade students to dress up in Muslim robes for a three-week course on Islam.

This arbitrary double standard was applied in the name of Political Correctness following the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

According to Ellen Sorokin's "No Founding Fathers?" published by the Washington Times on its front page on Jan. 28, 2002, even our Founding Fathers have fallen victim to the travesty. The article says of the New Jersey Department of Education's history standards,

"The latest revisions to the state standards have disappointed educators across the country, who said the board's exclusion of the Founding Fathers' names is 'Political Correctness to the nth degree.' "

Sorokin points out that "the standards specifically note that students should identify slavery, the Holocaust and modern Iraq as examples in which 'people have behaved in cruel and inhumane ways.' " Conveniently, communism is absent from that short list.

In another article by Sorokin, published by the Washington Times on March 10, "Report Blames Anti-Americanism on College Teachers," she presents two examples of upcoming courses for next spring and fall. They are " 'The Sexuality of Terrorism' at University of California at Hayward; and 'Terrorism and the Politics of Knowledge' at UCLA, a class that, according to its course description, examines 'America's record of imperialistic adventurism.' "

Recently, a historic photograph of the New York firefighters raising the American flag over the ruins of the World Trade Center was going to be made into a sculpture as a memorial.

But history's revisionists used Political Correctness to dictate that other minority faces replace some of the faces in the historical photograph! Fortunately, in the end that didn't fly either, due to the outcry of firefighters and the public.

The Goal of the PC Dictators

For people with the background and firsthand experience of living inside a totalitarian communist society, the tilt and goal of the dictators of Political Correctness in America are obvious.

The beneficiaries in the end will be the fanatic believers in the totalitarian state, who, in spite of the dismal failure of communism and the 100 million people exterminated pursuing that criminal system, have not given up.

Political and religious fanatics, as demonstrated by the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and the subsequent war in Afghanistan, are extremely dangerous in today's world.

All citizens who cherish liberty must reject the scourge of Political Correctness. Freedom of speech must be preserved in America if we are to continue to be free.

It's one thing is to be educated, considerate, polite and have good manners, and another to be forced to self-censor and say things that are totally incorrect in order to comply with the arbitrary dictums of a deceiving and fanatical far-left agenda.

More Political Correctness Comments

As I've been saying in previous posts, political correctness is going to be the death of America as we know it. I fear that my 2 year old daughter is going to end up in a country under Sharia Law and wearing a burka. Here is more of my viewpoint on how and why this is going to happen: We as a nation are afraid to extend our finger at a group or individual and state firmly "you are my enemy". Case in point; Islamic Terrorist. Recently British Prime Minister Gordon Brown instructed his ministers to stop using the phrase "war on terror" . How long is it going to be before the Democrats in Washington follow his lead and enact law banning the use of this phrase? Recently the EU passed resolution banning the phrase "Islamic Terrorism". According to the EU Observer the reason for this is “to avoid the use of words that could unnecessarily offend Muslims and spark radicalization.” Political Correctness, European style! For God's sake, a cartoon sparked radicalization in the Muslim community peppered throughout Europe. Remember the people of the "Religion of Peace" and how they burned cars, burned buildings. Even CNN at the bottom of the article states "CNN has chosen to not show the cartoons out of respect for Islam". Political Correctness again. A cartoon folks. A drawing of a cartoon character and the Religion of Peace goes berserk and torches half or Europe.
So out of political correctness, most major media outlets won't publish a cartoon. But most of them would have no problem I'm sure of publishing a cartoon of Christ on the cross, right? And I'll be that Christians wouldn't riot, kill and burn property if a picture like that were to be published. The United States has taken the stance that we don't want to upset anyone, for any reason. Why are we so afraid of calling our enemy by its name: Islamic Terrorism. Islam is at war with the United States. Islam has basically taken over Europe which is on the edge of becoming a huge Islamic State. I would predict that within a generation, there will be no country of Sweden; no country of Denmark; no country of Norway. All those Scandinavian countries will be Islamic states within a generation, maybe sooner. And it is because those countries bend over backwards to placate the Islamic population that resides in their country. The same way the United States is headed; placating Muslims in this country so as not to offend them. I don't care if a terrorist at Gitmo is tortured. Good! Get the information from them before they kill me or my daughter. I don't care what means are used to extract the information; the only important thing is that we get the information in time to save lives. The media in this country, the left, and the lawyers are all working to get us killed by meddling in these military affairs.
If you want to get a real grasp on the extent of the political correctness in this country, read this article from USA Today. It is amazing to me that the ACLU will vigorously fight to keep Christian prayer out of public schools, yet they remain silent and inactive on the issue of the Religion of Peace being practiced in our public schools. Here's another article from World News Daily concerning the teaching of Muslim religion in our public schools. Why are we afraid to stop the Muslim religion from hijacking our public schools? Why does the terrorist group C.A.I.R. provide sensitivity training to the F.B.I.? Sensitivity training? We're not supposed to offend terrorists? You mean in the same way they don't offend us when they are cutting off the heads of Americans and posting it all over the internet for the world to see? We are so afraid to offend the Muslim's that we are willing to surrender our children to them? Not me. Never. I do not fear Muslim's and if need be, I will defend myself from them and my family at any cost. I for one will stand up and say Islamic Terrorists are my enemy and I will take measures to ensure that my country will not, cannot be hijacked by this so called Religion of Peace.

American Hating Democrats, Kucinich, Pelosi, etc.

US Representative for Ohio and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich has been in Syria the past few days denouncing the American presence in Iraq; denouncing the President; and embracing a State sponsor of Terrorism. How does an elected United States Politician sink to this level in their career? How does one who aspires to serve the public end up on Syrian television sympathizing with Syria and denouncing our Country and our soldiers? I can't answer that question; only Kucinich can. I don't know what his ulterior motive is for doing this but if this man thinks that he has even a snow balls chance in Hell of being elected President, he's mentally disturbed. And we all know he is not the first democrat to go to Syria to embrace Bashar al-Assad and his terrorist State. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi did this earlier this year and she made a real mess of things concerning Israel, do you remember?
Rush said it best yesterday his radio show "we are going to have to fight this war on terror without the democrats on our side". I completely agree with that assumption. It is extremely difficult to tell the difference between Bin Laden and the democrats when either one speaks. How did the democrat party sink to this level? Is this what the pure hatred of President Bush brings out in them? Why hate the Country if you hate the President? Why go overseas and appear on Syrian television trash talking our Country? How can someone that does that live with themselves? Who elects these nut cases to office and why would anyone vote for them? John Edwards is on record saying "there is no war on terror; that's a bumper sticker phrase". Does he really believe that Islamic Terrorists do not want to kill Americans? Does he really think that Bin Laden would not cut his head off if he got the chance? Is that what would have to happen for him to believe in this war? What the hell is wrong with these people? I get so mad at these politicians and I just can't understand why they hate America so much? They get "mad" if anyone questions their patriotism or loyalty to America. Well, I wonder why anyone would question their loyalty or patriotism; after all, they're only on foreign soil denouncing our country and our soldiers. These people are traitors and act in a treasonous manner and to be honest, I'd like to see them brought up on federal charges.
God help us if any of these democrats get elected President. If that happens, we all better brush up on our Farsi and start studying the Qaran because this country will fall under Sharia Law in less than a generation.

More PC is Killing US (read on)

The Iranian Hostage Crisis, is what I believe to be the single greatest incident in which Islamic Militants realized that the United States was a “paper tiger” and was unwilling to use military force to defend this country or citizens abroad whose lives were in danger. President Carter did a great disservice to this Country by his inactions. President Carter did allow one military operation to take place to try to rescue our hostages. This operation resulted in disaster for the United States as the aircraft being used to supply men and equipment for a raid on the Embassy, crashed into each other in the Iranian desert, killing 8 servicemen and injuring 3 others. The morning after the debacle in the desert, on April 11, 1980 gleeful Iranians broadcast footage of the smoking remains of the rescue attempt, a stark symbol of American impotence.

I want to move on to another reason (one among many) as to why America is dying and that reason is Political Correctness. Take for instance when the United States Embassy was taken over in Tehran, Iran on November 4, 1979 by Islamic Militants. I call them Islamic Militants because that’s what they were then and that’s what they are today. Yet, from some of the news story of the day, here are some examples of how the media in this country portrayed these Islamic Militants:

The media portrayed these Islamic Terrorists as “students” or “revolutionaries” but rarely did you see the words “Islamic Terrorists” printed together in the media or referred to by the broadcast media as such. This is a type of political correctness that is killing America today.

There used to be a time when a person who was in a wheelchair was called “handicapped” or a person with a mental disability was called “retarded”. There used to be a time when African-Americans were called black people or people with slanted eyes were called Chinese or Japanese. There used to a time when a spade was called a spade. Not any more. If any person refers to someone with a mental disability as “retarded” they are tarred and feathered. How in the world can anyone be so insensitive as to call someone retarded? No don’t get me wrong, I agree that calling someone retarded might seem a bit harsh and that some political correctness is actually good for society. But when it comes to today’s enemies and the fight of our lives, political correctness is killing America. We have politicians who claim that there is “no war on terror” that the phrase is nothing more than a “bumper sticker phrased”. We have politicians who visit countries with known terrorist ties, countries that support and provide arms and other weapons to terrorist organizations. Why would a high ranking politician visit the country of Syria? For no other reason that to attempt to make the current President, George Bush, look bad and to appease the left wing fringe who many of the democrats are beholden to. The Bush Presidency is one of the most hated administrations in history. It all stems from the Presidential elections of 2000 when then Vice President Al Gore ran for the Presidency. The state of Florida had some voting problems and Gore insisted he had won the state; however, it became clear that he had decidedly lost. Does losing an election mean that Gore would concede defeat? Not in a million years. Not only did Gore not concede defeat, he challenged through the courts the validity of the Florida election in hopes that he might get a sympathetic judge to rule in his favor. But his hopes were dashed when the U. S. Supreme Courts validated the Florida election results, thus agreeing that George Bush had indeed won the Presidency fair and square. From this day on, certain segments of this society and several politicians have come down with a sickness that has been termed “Bush Derangement Syndrome”. We have politicians who work hard every day to usurp the Presidents authority; align themselves with the far left wing fringe groups; and seemingly echoing the words and thoughts of public enemy number 1 Bin Laden. Take a look at the most recent tapes released and compare the words of Bin Laden with those of Durbin, Pelosi, Murtha, Reed, Edwards among many other politicians. It is unbelievable that we have elected officials that are determined to and working in concert with Islamic Terrorists to drag this country down. Have they lost sight of what their elected positions are to be used for? How can they hate the United States so much yet many of them are millionaires and made their money from corporations, which they are against as well. But they hate this Country. Just listen to them when the open their mouths and the poisonous comments and words that emanate into the air. These are the same people who refuse to believe that Islamic Terrorists actually want to kill every American unless they submit to Islam. These people feel that if we appease Islamic Terrorists; denounce our President and our Country (even when on foreign soil in a known terrorist sponsoring State) that somehow the terrorists are going to leave us alone and no "bother us" anymore. These are the same people who fight every day so that at our nations airports, the 80 year old grandma from Kansas is treated with the same suspicions as the 20 year old Egyptian male. How do we as a country allow this to happen? How do we not take every Arab person who wants to board an airplane and screen them in detail every time they fly? We don't do it because we don't want to "profile" anyone. We don't want to give the appearance that we are targeting Arab males. I ask, why not? Why not target Arab males at airports? It is the common sense thing to do and we all know it but we as a Country won't do it because of the very reasons I just listed. We all know that as we sit in an airport and we look around and see someone who looks Arab, we all have the same thoughts; but we don't dare speak those thoughts out loud, do we? We don't want to be the racist; the bigot; the big bad profiling bully, do we? C'mon folks, get a grip on reality. This is the kind of political correctness that is going to be the death of America. We as a Country need to profile specific people at our nations airports and it is for very obvious reasons why we need to do this. If anyone, and I mean anyone can provide me with a description of the 9-11 hijackers that doesn't include the words "Arab", "male", "young", then let them come forward and I will publish a public apology for the stance I am taking on this issue. Fact is, no one can describe the 9-11 hijackers differently because they were all Arab; they were all males and they were all relatively young. Now, are some innocent Arab people going to be screened in detail and have to suffer some inconvenience because of this suggestion? Yes, they are. But aren't we all suffering additional inconveniences NOW because of what happened on 9-11? Political correctness is going to be the death of America and our courts; our politicians; and the media are standing in the way of the common sense approach to the problems of America from being addressed in the fashion that they should be addressed.

Let me be the first to say this out loud and I believe this with all my heart; Islam is not the religion of peace; The Prophet was a brutal murderer; a thief; a rapist; and a bloodthirsty animal on the same level as Attila the Hun; Hitler; Mussolini; Stalin. If you care to argue this point do me a favor first; read the Qaran; read a book called "The Truth about Mohamed" and read a book called "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam" and them come argue with me about my assertions concerning the Prophet. If you read those books, you won't argue with me; you'll be agreeing with me. But in this Country we don't want to admit that Islam is a violent religion; we don't want to appear that we are "against" Islam; we don't want to stand up and do the right things to save our lives and save this Country.

The Politically Correct Way to Kill America

Political correctness is killing America. Right now, as we speak, this once great and respected Country is dying a slow, painful death. The rest of the World used to look at America as a nation to be envied and admired. A symbol of power and strength. A Country of great wealth, freedoms and liberty never before seen and never copied. This Country has, without a doubt, the greatest military fighting force the World has ever seen, yet, we don’t use our might to save ourselves. Let me ask you, if your child was in the jaws of a bear and unless you acted with every ounce of strength power you have your child would surely die, wouldn’t you do everything in your strength and power to save your child? I know I would if it were my daughter. (If anyone that read the question and answered no, you might want to consider giving up your child for adoption). This is what America needs to do to save itself from dying, but we won’t do it. We use the “soft” approach to facing our enemies. It’s as if some people think all you have to do is talk to the enemy; acquiesce to the enemy; and that somehow our enemies are going to all of a sudden realize that the United States isn’t that bad. We should just leave America alone they will say, because Americans talk nice to us. Folks, that is never, ever going to happen. Let me write that one more time in case you don’t get the importance of what I just said. This enemy we currently face is never, ever going to stop trying to kill us unless and until several things happen. If you have read this far and you are wondering who or what is killing us and why, then I suggest you continue to read. If you think I’m just a person who doesn’t have a clue about anything, then go about your daily life ignoring what I am telling you. But, my friend, someday while you are going about your life with your head in the sand, you are going to finally realize that this Country is dead and by the time you realize that, it will be way, way too late for you to act.
